Shelia was born and raised in Chattanooga, TN by her father and mother Rev. Willie James & Mary Moses. She has two sisters and one brother. Shelia have always had a love and passion for preforming Arts. When Shelia was 8 years old she would get all of her friends together in her neighborhood outside her home and pretend that they were on "Good Times" and "The Jeffersons" acting out the tv shows. She was also Diane Ross with the Supremes singing and dancing with he friends. 

Shelia studied creative and modern dance in her teens during her high school years. She was tall and very lean and she had the perfect body for ballet. Shelia could always see herself on Broadway dancing with a great company. But in 1984 after graduating from Brainerd High School she travelled to Knoxville with friends to see the "Victory" concert with Michael Jackson and the Jackson 5. Michael Jackson performance was outstanding and the way he touched people was amazing stated Shelia. It changed her life because one day she wanted to be able to touch people with her God given talent which is acting.

Shelia met her husband Sam A. Wofford Jr. in the summer1989 and was married November 1990. She continued training in many acting classes and performing in many community theaters. In September of 1995 She gave birth to their son Sam A. Wofford III "Trey." This was truly a blessing from God Shelia states. Being a wife and mother were Shelia's first priority so she took time off from her career to raised their son. 

In 2003 thru 2011 Shelia and husband Sam wrote and produced 10 stage play productions at their church. In 2006 thru 2011 she was back performing at the Chattanooga Theatre Centre. 

In September of 2010 with much prayer Shelia she decided to step out on faith and make the transition from theater to film, TV and commercials. She trained with James J. Ciccone/The Actors Axiom-Scene Study film & Self tape, Amy Lyndon/Booking Auditions Film & TV, Wendy Wright/ABC of Show Business, Dwayne Boyd/Premier Actors Network in Atlanta, GA, Hope Alexander/ Acting for the Camera and Karl D. Gardner/Acting classes with Destiny Ensemble Theater. 

As of now, Shelia's been blessed to have had roles in: Marbles and Bullets, Anathema, The Cardinal Rule, Bloated Minds, Advocate & Solicitor, Homicide Hunters, Psychology of Secrets, House of Payne, Redemption 316, RABIDUS, The Last Assignment, Breeze and several local commercials just to name a few. Shelia has worked with some of the top directors and writers in Atlanta, Chattanooga and Knoxville.

 Shelia is signed with "Talent Trek Agency."
